Building Safety Information & Fire Regulations

Uhaus East

Building safety information overview

At Uhaus East, the safety of our residents, visitors and colleagues is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, well-managed home and to meeting the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022.

This page has been created to explain how building safety is managed within your building, who is responsible for maintaining it, and how you can access important safety information or raise any concerns.

Building safety is not something that is reviewed once a year. It is managed every day through planned inspections, routine maintenance, regular testing of life safety systems and continual review of our Building Safety Case. We work closely with specialist engineers, approved contractors and the Building Safety Regulator to ensure that fire and structural safety risks are identified, assessed and effectively managed throughout the life of the building.

We also believe that residents have an important role to play. By sharing information openly and encouraging residents to report concerns, we can continue to maintain a safe and well-managed building for everyone.
